Katherine Shepard
My name is Katherine Shepard, and I am a third year Astronomy Graduate Student at Georgia State University in Atlanta Georgia. I am currently working with Dr. Douglas Gies on the spectra of VFTS 102 and VFTS 285, two rapid rotators that are located within the Tarantula Nebula in the LMC. Aside from this, I am interested in Be stars, the evolution of rapidly rotating stars, imaging the surface of stars, Spectroscopy, and Long Baseline Interferometry.
